A space to unload stress in playful exploration

You feel like you don’t have time for yourself, time out of home, time to do something fun.

 

You want to take off your “business hat” and drop the pressure to perform to just play with no agenda.

 

You may be facing challenging situations or navigating transitions and feeling unsupported.

Sitting still is not doing the trick for you. Meditation isn’t enough.

 

And now this tension shows up in your body. From tension headaches to joint pain.

 

The physiotherapist releases the blockage, and you feel relief, but after a week the pain has built up again.

 

You're not doing the exercises because you don't remember the instructions, you feel insecure about doing them incorrectly, and they’re boring!

 

Unless you face the underlying cause, you’ll be relying on your physiotherapist long-term and risking the issue developing into a chronic condition.

 

You’re curious about a sustainable practice of checking in and listening to your body to prevent blockages from building up.

 

Blockages can be the result of frustrations that we aren’t even aware of.

 

It’s just a feeling of dissatisfaction. “I’m not complete. I’m not myself.”

 

Often, we have ticked all the boxes: family, friends, home, job. We are objectively successful, but something is still missing.

 

You still feel restless and trapped in your body. Unexpressed.

You may even have tried therapy, and the talking is not working for you.

 

You need to MOVE your body, but your soul craves something more than yoga, Pilates, or choreographed dance classes.

I feel you and I have felt the same.


In my classes, you have permission to be silly, to look weird, to enjoy the moment.


  • You can express yourself in your own movement and at your own pace, working with the body not against the body.
  • You can find strength in connecting to the body and the inner self.
  • You can access the intelligence of the body and intuition in addition to rational cognitive intelligence.

 

Listening to the tensions in the body, you can uncover tensions in the mind and soul.

 

You acknowledge the emotion that builds up your physical tension and explore which aspect of your life feels misaligned or unfulfilling.

 

This is a holistic self-healing practise.

So what does it look like?


BEING IN THE MOMENT


With the right kind of music and an intriguing prompt, you can explore as your body feels safe in movement.


A simple prompt like

“make circular movements with your elbow”

guides you to explore how many different circles your elbow can “draw.”


This is a fun game, easily accessible, and respectful to what your body can do and wants to do.


Absorbed in the movement, so much in flow…


…you are free to play and engage with the moment


…you move parts of your body not used in functional, repetitive daily tasks


…you open a channel to express how you really think and feel.
